Seriously? Women cheat just as much. I think I saw a study that said they cheat more then men. I'll have to check this site to see where they put the odds but it's a part of life. It happens. It's unrealistic to think that straying outside of a relationship signals a full breakdown of the relationship. Humans cheat and come back. It's a natural part of any relationship cycle and should not be a terminal offense.

That pretty much sums it up. Women need to get off their arses, go jogging to keep fit, eat healthy, get their hair done regularly, treat their husband to a good home cooked meal on a regular basis (assuming he's working and she's not), buy him gifts for no particular reason. But I have a feeling all that's too hard. It's easier to sit on the couch and grow old and think those marriage vows will keep their husband honest. Well, it's not enough. Women need to take a look in the mirror and find out if they like what they see. If they don't, maybe he doesn't either. I don't know the story with Tiger. If he was calously sleeping around when he had a devoted wife at home, then it's shameful. But if he had problems with her and she was not doing what she needed to do as a wife, well there you go.....

Bandit 14, I feel your pain. Im in my fortys and have been married for 21 years. Lets face it, the flame becomes a slow dying ember. Where there was once a urge to satisfy each others needs it has become a sense of duty and obligation in reference to the bedroom. Fact is, there are just as many unhappy married women out there who are willing to step out and experience someone different and they do persue it. I have been fortunate to be able to satisfy their needs and mine at the same time. We all want to be wanted and needed and spouses simply take that for granted over time. So what do we do? Spend the rest of our lives unhappy? Well I'm not! I have been having the best time of my life! And the people along for the ride are having a blast too. 15 years from now when my tools dont work as they should, I'll have some memories to reflect on. I'm livin NOW baby! and with no regrets. solidarity, if your post was meant for me, I never said I had "no self control." I think you need to read more carefully. Furthermore, my post was not meant to advocate cheating. I am just explaining that women have certain obligations just like men do. They should not just sit back and expect the marriage to be wonderful if they are not working hard at it. It's a two way street.

If I had a dime for the number of times I heard a married woman say, "my children come before my husband." Women today want everything, but by not giving their husbands and boyfriends the proper respect and proper priority in life, they are doomed to fail in the relationship department. I'm not saying all women are like this but a lot.

As a man I think it is weak and cowardly to make up an excuse about why you have no self control. I have my share of issues, but I believe it is this society and culture that lacks good strong men to set the bar and the example of what it means to be male. It is a fool who places the blame on a woman for his own pathetic shortcomings. Take responsibility, "man up" and quit making excuses.

Being a man, I believe that men are naturally inclined to procreate with as many women as possible. It's as strong as the desire for eating and drinking. Being with one woman in a marriage goes against our nature, and in order to remain faithful, we must extert all of our will power. Imagine having not eaten all day and then walking by a restaurant and seeing food so delicious and appetizing. Could you pass up the opportunity to eat? Men must do so to remain faithful, and now you can understand how hard it is. Men get a bad rap for doing something that is totally natural for them to do. Now here's the deal. A lot of men probably could remain faithful if their wives/girlfriends kept up their appearance, worked out and maintained a good shape, and gave them sufficient support and attention. But when they don't (like concentrating too much on friends, family or the children), it makes it a lot easier for men to stray. It justifies the decision to stray. Since men have to work hard just to be faithful (let alone work hard in their jobs), women should recognize they must work hard too and satisfy their men. It's a two way street.

THere ain't no way the odds are this low. More like 1 in 1.5 for men, and 1 in 1.2 for women. heck I saw somewhere that 46% of marriages suffer through some sort of infidelity... thats only the ones that suffer (as in the ones that get caught.. about half by my guestimates). The number actually cheating is at least double that.

Men are monogamous by society nroms only. America's Judeo-Christian religions designed the rites of marriage and monogamy. As primal creatures, men are simply following a natural instinct to reproduce. Women are socialized to keep to one man, but some also struggle and deviate based on sexual drives. Has marriage ever really worked for anyone? Those who remain faithful do so by the fears instilled on being heaven or hell-bent. Redesign society mores and free humans to live based on their biological and species-driven need to spawn naturally. Restrict church and science confusions. Child-bearing age is between 14 - 44 years for most. Take a look back in ages of sexual onset in our own human civilizations. The social and religious restrictions are causing havoc with natural humanity. Tiger is 33 and viral, what do you expect?

I'm not happy with tiger woods...he's killing mens integrity, Im againest the odds game that men cheat more than women...I think women cheat more than men....in alot aways. Guys are on the come back of values and integrity! I also know it takes two.....

Men think with their penis....and sometimes it is great! I have few regrets. It's not an emotional issue, but just sexual. The question is, why are they not satisfied at home with the wife....some of the best sex I've ever expererienced is with married men who will never leave the boredom of their married existence!
